W.J Andrews Memorial Arena dedicated to the memory of  the late Wallace Andrews (1943-2013)

Wallace was a retired Pastor who moved to this little community in March of 2006 after meeting and later marring his love, Marilyn Prowse. He settled in and made this little community his home. His love for the community showed through when he attended and most often recorded community events. In 2009, under a job creation program, Wallace was erected.

On July 27, 2012 Wallace was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. On June 27, 2013 Wallace succumbed to this dreadful disease leaving this community to grieve. A very fun loving man, contagious smile, great sense of humour and a heart of pure gold. This man is greatly missed and will always be remembered by all who loved and knew him.
